Companies based in Klaipeda FEZ

“HeidelbergCement Klaipeda”belongs to the global concern “Heidelbergcement”, which operates in 40 countries across the world and controls over 2,500 subdivisions. It is the second largest cement supplier in Lithuania and the largest importer thereof. Company is planning to build a cement logistics terminal in Klaipeda FEZ, whose output will reach around 50-70 thousand tons of packaged cement per year, and 15-20 new work positions will be created by the company in Klaipeda.

Heidelbergcement products will be packaged at the new terminal and transported from there to various locations in Lithuania. The packaging process will utilize modern certified closed-cycle technology equipment, which will prevent both soil and air pollution. It is planned that concrete will also be produced in the logistics terminal in the future. The concern already controls a company in Kaunas, which has been operating since 2007.
