Leased out sites

The largest green - field investment project within Lithuania was set up in the Klaipeda FEZ in 2006.  Orion Global PET (Indorama Group) is the world’s leading producer of PET pellets and plastic packaging material. It is the largest Southeast Asian investment, the value of which amounts to 93 million EUR.

Work performed by Klaipeda FEZ Management Company for the investor:

• the proper-sized sites best suited for the envisaged economic activities with optimal prepared infrastructure facilities nearby has been selected and planned;
• the contractual obligation to build street leading towards the sites with the entrance to the site has been fulfilled on time;
• assistance has been provided in coordinating the documentation with the institutions and obtaining the necessary authorities enabling the construction activities;
• every year, a traditional presentation of the impact of corporate economic activities on the neighbouring communities is organized together with presentation and delivery of results of monitoring to responsible supervisory authorities.
