Project: Klaipėda FEZ Infrastructure Development for Attraction of Foreign Research, Experimental Development and Innovation Companies

Klaipėda Free Economic Zone Management Company (hereinafter referred to as “Klaipėda FEZ”) works consistently in order to attract companies from different business sectors. Currently, 24 industrial, logistic, energetic companies operate within the territory of Klaipėda Free Economic Zone.

Taking into account the economic trends, in the future, Klaipėda FEZ plans to focus on higher value-added companies, which will carry out innovative activities.

After evaluation of objective technical, economic and social conditions of the region, objective Klaipėda FEZ opportunities, priority Areas of Smart Specialisation in Research and Experimental Development (REDI), where foreign companies may be attracted, have been chosen.
