Yazaki Income and Profit in Lithuania Grew By More Than 50%

Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lithuania, a Japanese car wiring manufacturer operating out of the Klaipeda FEZ, reported 64.346 million EUR in income in the last fiscal year, a 59.9% increase over their numbers a year earlier (41.022 million EUR), the BNS news agency reports.

The company’s profit over the same period, which starts in April and ends in March, grew in a similar manner, by 52.8%, to 4.026 million EUR from 2.634 million in the previous fiscal year, according to the disclosure forms from the State Enterprise Centre of Registers.

Since 1993, the company has been operating in Lithuania, making wiring for Volvo (Sweden) and Renault (France) trucks, as well as Mercedes-Benz cars.

On average, the company employed 1,290 people over the last fiscal year, with 983 recorded previously.

The company’s stock is owned by Yazaki Wiring Technologies, which is registered in Germany and owned by Japanese Yazaki Corporation.
