Yazaki Lithuania reports 10% revenue growth for 2017 after successful year‘s trading

Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lithuania delivered an impressive 9.8 per cent growth in revenues after strong trading last year, according to the company‘s annual financial report.

Total revenues for 2017 amounted to 41.02 m Eur – an increase of 3.65 m Eur on the previous year. Net profit for the period was 2.63 m Eur.

The increase brings Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lithuania into the top 200 Lithuanian companies by sales (in 190th place, up from 210th in 2016).

Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lithuania is one of the largest investors and manufacturers in Lithuania‘s automobile component cluster. The company produces wiring harnesses for Daimler (Mercedes-Benz) motor vehicles, as well as for Volvo and Renault trucks.

Yazaki Lithuania‘s successful growth also represents a large boost for local jobs. In 2017, the company employed an average of 983 people at the company‘s production facility in Klaipėda, compared to 794 in 2016 – an increase of almost 24 per cent.

Established in 1993, Yazaki Wiring Technologies Lithuania is based in the Klaipėda Free Economic Zone. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yazaki Wiring Technologies (Germany), part of Yazaki, a global automotive supplier from Japan.

Yazaki is the largest manufacturer of automotive wiring harnesses in the world, with 487 branches in 45 countries and 289,000 employees worldwide.
